This U1 guitar neck is a "factory second" due to a stabilized crack on the fingerboard. It has passed inspection and is fully functional. A good option if you're looking to save a few bucks on a new short scale neck. It is fine-sanded and ready for finish, and will work with most standard 24" scale guitar bodies.
